The Peek device comes without contracts and with a small monthly fee of around $19.95 a month for the service. The device is slim and easy to carry most anywhere, which makes it an attractive product for anyone. The Peek offers coverage but no International roaming, yet. Target offers the Peek in their stores, but you can also purchase it online here. It supports up to 3 email addresses, for you busy socialites. You can view .jpg images (a high 10MB limit is imposed) but you cannot view other attachments like Word documents, although, it won’t delete those and you can access them via your regular web mail at a later time if you need to do so.

Here is a list of email providers that Peek supports: AT&T™, Comcast®, Verizon, Roadrunner™, BellSouth®, SBCGlobal, Earthlink®, Cox®, Charter, Cablevision, NetZero®, and many others.

Most of us are content with a normal looking alarm clock, being square or rectangle, it doesn’t matter. Well, if you’re one who always wants to stand out from the crowd, there is always the Escape Key Alarm Clock which is fashioned after the traditional Esc key found on computer keyboards. I wouldn’t go so far as to call it an escape, since when one sleeps, one does so to escape from the harsh realities of life, and waking up would mean that person is brought back to a flawed world unlike the utopian dream experienced before that. Anyhows, designer Santiago Cantera has managed to make it work with a pair of speakers and a dock - wirelessly, to boot. In order to turn it off or snooze, all you need to do is clench your fist into a ball and hit it with your frustration of waking up at an ungodly hour just to keep up with the rat race.

It is extremely heartbreaking for new parents to see their kid suffering from high fever the first time round - most of the time, the care and concern lavished is nothing short of royalty. Designer Duck Young Kong (pretty zany handle, eh?) has come up with this special thermometer design that is definitely a few steps ahead of the conventional, known as the Lunar Baby Thermometer. This simple temperature checking device can be worn on a finger, and all it takes to get a temperature reading is to place one’s hand over the forehead and wait for it to beep. Well, at least the child doesn’t have to suffer the discomfort of a glass stick being stuck up (or down) an orifice.

European wireless carrier 3 will soon roll out its very own handset to go up against a multitude of cell phones this holiday season. Known as the INQ1, this phone will come with the added advantage of an integrated Facebook program, helping deliver both alerts and synchronizing contacts to the user’s Facebook profile. In addition, the INQ1 is also able to pair up existing contacts with the user’s Skype and Windows Live Messenger accounts for greater interoperability. When connected to a notebook, it also doubles up as a plug-and-play modem, so make sure you’re connected to a decent unlimited data plan before you get going or else you’re going to be slapped by a really huge bill at the end of the month. Other features found on the INQ1 include a 3.2 megapixel camera, 50MB of internal memory, support for memory cards, a 2.2″ display at 320 x 240 resolution and an integrated gyroscope to get the screen’s orientation right always. 3 aims to offer the INQ1 for less than £99 without a contract.

The A767 Propel has a slider design with a slide out QWERTY keyboard popping from the bottom, not the side. This Samsung comes in four different colors with Wine Red, Apple Green, Light Blue and Wine Red so that you can match your phone up with your style.

Also featured is the 1.3 MP camera and camcorder will capture your favorite moments in a flash. A timer, brightness control, and included microSD slot will give you plenty of options when taking videos or pictures. Includes high-speed wireless abilities so that you can get your emails, browsed videos, and visited sites faster. GSM enabled and weighs around 3.7oz. so it’s light and compact. Samsung says you’ll get around 5 hours of talk time with this phone, too.

Do you happen to lack a man in your home to get all the hammering done? Well, if you think you need the extra muscular strength, then the Hammerhead Auto-Hammer from Craftsman is here to help. This 12V lithium-rechargeable Hammerhead Auto-Hammer comes with a miniature jackhammer that is able to drive nails in at 35 strikes each second, featuring a form factor that is similar to that of a regular, manual hand-powered hammer. Well, at least the familiarity of the design makes it much easier to use. Why not be nice to your neighbor and get him to help you out with the hammering instead? Who knows, your lonely lives could lead to something beautiful after such a hammering encounter, flooring the both of you with this thing called love.

I suppose this is a womanly thing, storing cosmetics in the fridge to help preserve its freshness along with a whole host of other benefits. Well, if you’re already doing so (or planning to), why not do it in style? Korean company IDOCI has released a new range of dedicated cosmetic fridges which are able to store your myriad of cosmetics, ranging from lipsticks to gels within the ideal 8 to 12 degree Celsius range. Apart from maintaining the ideal temperature, you even have the benefit of keeping track of the expiry dates of your items, as majority of cosmetics are able to last around two years from the manufacturing date. You will be able to choose from pink, blue, purple, silver, green and black colors, so make sure it is able to color-coordinate with the rest of your home.

Everyone likes a nicely trimmed garden, but getting it done yourself is hard work. Most of the time, one’s inexperience will show through with uneven cutting and bald patches of grass here and there. Why not leave it to the professionals? In this instance, we have the Automower that is solar-powered. This means it will not only help turn your garden into a beautiful, flat and green surface (assuming you wire the lawn correctly as the Automower will use these wires as a reference point), it doe so without polluting our beloved environment. The price to pay for such luxury is a cool $3,100, but at least it comes with built-in kid and pet friendly features. It will take approximately 10 hours of direct charging under the sun to trim a quarter of an acre. The Automower is smart enough to run to its charging station each time it runs low on juice, so you will be able to leave it running loose in your garden with minimal supervision.

Are you thinking about getting a digital photo frame sometime in the near future? Well, if you are, perhaps you can consider the iGala? This model not only comes with a delicious 8″ touchscreen display, it also a decent 800 x 600 resolution to boot. With 1GB of internal storage and the ability to augment that further with a whole host of memory cards, you can be sure the iGala will serve you well in years to come. An interesting aspect is the inclusion of Wi-Fi connectivity - it allows you to access your Gmail inbox directly thanks to Gmail integration, and you can even use it as an alarm clock to help you get out of bed during those dreary Monday mornings. Integration with Microsoft’s FrameIt service lets you access the latest news, traffic and weather information in a jiffy, while being able to hook up to Flickr directly make it a snap to organize your online photo album. The iGala wireless digital photo frame retails for $239 a pop - do you think that’s a fair price to pay?
